The conventional, binary-gender labelling of toilets harbours a high potential for discrimination for trans*, inter* and non-binary people. Many experience verbal abuse, threats or even physical attacks because they have used a supposedly \"wrong\" toilet. This everyday burden often leads to those affected avoiding public toilets, which can have both psychological and physical consequences.<\/span><\/p><\/div>

To tackle this problem and enable equal participation in public life, \"toilets for all\" are an important step. They offer a non-discriminatory and safe space that all people can use without fear or stress. In this way, we create a\u00a0Potential Safer Space<\/b> and promote a more inclusive environment at the UAS.<\/p><\/div>

Our aim is to set up at least one \"toilet for all\" in every UAS building.
