I am...<\/p>\n<p>Psychotherapist, passionate exercise enthusiast, nature-loving and nature-loving mountain hiker, attentive listener, supportive belay partner, committed developer, curious trailblazer and, since mid-October 2024, your contact person in the student advisory service at the FHV.<\/p>\n<p>I think it's great that this offer was essentially organised for you by the \u00d6H, as I think low-threshold and more natural access to support services is important. This way, mental health support can also become more self-evident, which is something I wish for all of us.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to all the interest in the chosen subject, studying full-time or part-time is also challenging and poses different challenges:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Exam anxiety<\/li>\n<li>Conflicts at the study place<\/li>\n<li>Homesickness<\/li>\n<li>Orientation at the place of study and in groups of people<\/li>\n<li>Stress-related physical symptoms such as stomach pain, tension headaches, tinnitus, problems falling asleep and sleeping through the night, ...<\/li>\n<li>Concentration difficulties<\/li>\n<li>Thought circles<\/li>\n<li>Financial worries<\/li>\n<li>etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I can offer you the following advice:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Free initial consultation:<\/strong> You can discuss your situation with me in an initial consultation. This conversation often helps to gain clarity and find the right support.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Further free dates:<\/strong> After the initial consultation, you can take advantage of further sessions free of charge if required.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Referral to external therapists:<\/strong> If longer-term therapy is necessary or useful, I will help you find an external therapist. The first external consultation is covered by the \u00d6H.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The <strong>Offer of the \u00d6H Helpline<\/strong> is open to all of you with a valid student ID card <strong>free of charge<\/strong>. You can make an appointment online at any time at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oeh.ac.at\/helpline\/\">https:\/\/www.oeh.ac.at\/helpline\/<\/a> book. You have the choice of booking an appointment at the FHV <strong>in person or by telephone<\/strong> wishes.
