The advent calendar is in no way connected to Instagram or other platforms. The ÖH of Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences is the sole contact and responsible party.

1. Participation
To take part, answer the daily question correctly and like the daily post.

2. persons entitled to participate
All properly enrolled students of FH Vorarlberg and Schloss Hofen are eligible to participate.

3. other conditions of participation
Participation is only possible by commenting below the respective daily entry. Double participation is not possible. Participation with a second account is not permitted. The answer in the comment may not be deleted, otherwise the prize must be returned.
By participating in the competition, the participant agrees to the conditions of participation and the rules of the Advent calendar. Participation is only possible on the respective day. Answers that do not arrive on the respective day are invalid.

4. determination of profits
A winner will be drawn from all participants who took part on the respective day, liked the post and answered the question correctly by the following Wednesday at the latest. They will be contacted via Instagram to request their student email address. The winner will then be notified by email. If the winner does not confirm within three days, the prize will be forfeited and another winner will be chosen.
In order to give as many students as possible a chance to win, winners can only win once. Exceptions are possible if only people who have all already won enter on the same day.  Deviations can be accepted for estimation questions. If no correct answer is received on one day, no one wins and the prize is additionally raffled on the following day.

5. profit
The prizes have all been sponsored. The prize cannot be passed on. Cash redemption is not possible.

6. transmission of the winnings
The prizes will either be handed over in person at the ÖH office, in the case of digital vouchers or guest list places by email (to the respective student email address) or directly by the sponsor. The student ID will be checked at the ÖH office. A suggested date for collection will be sent with the prize notification. If the prize is to be handed over by the sponsor, the winner will make an appointment independently by contacting the sponsor.

7. announcement
By taking part, you agree that we may pass on your name and email address to the sponsor of the day if this is necessary for handing over the prize. 

8. termination options
The ÖH of the FHV reserves the right to cancel or terminate the competition at any time without prior notice. This applies in particular if the competition cannot run as planned for reasons such as software or hardware errors and/or other technical and/or legal reasons that affect the administration, security, integrity and/or regular and proper running of the advent calendar. In such cases, the ÖH of the FHV also has the right to modify the competition at its discretion.

9. data protection
The personal data we collect and process will only be used for the purposes of running the Advent calendar.

10 Legal recourse and liability
The legal process is excluded. There is no enforceable claim to the payment of prizes. The ÖH of the FHV is not liable for the loss, delay, alteration, manipulation and/or misdirection of e-mails and/or data during data entry. The ÖH of the FHV is liable not for damages incurred by the winner or the winner's relatives in connection with the Advent calendar prize.
